On November 20, 2015, plaintiff Gloria Benavides, on behalf of herself and “others similarly situated,” brought this action for unpaid wages, including failure to pay the proper minimum wage and overtime compensation, under the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York State Labor Law against defendants Serenity Spa NY Inc. and Yu Qun Dai.
