A jury convicted Devante Jerome Foster of aggravated sexual assault of six-year-old J.S., and the trial court assessed punishment at life in prison. In five issues, appellant contends venue was not proven, he is entitled to a new punishment hearing because the punishment record has been lost or destroyed, the trial court erred by admitting certain evidence, and his life sentence is grossly disproportionate to the offense and violates the objectives of the penal code.
