Appellant David Cary was charged with eight felonies — six counts of bribery, one count of money laundering, and one count of engaging in organized criminal activity. After finding appellant guilty as charged, the jury assessed concurrent sentences of fourteen years in prison for each offense. On appeal appellant argues that (1) the evidence is legally insufficient to support his convictions, (2) he received ineffective assistance of counsel, and (3) the bribery statute is unconstitutional.
