This securities action is brought by Plaintiff Federal Home-Loan Bank of Chi cago, a federally chartered corporation established by Congress under the Federal Home Loan Bank Act of 1932. Plaintiff claims it purchased over $880 million in Private Label Mortgage Backed Securities, also known as mortgage pass-through certificates (“Certificates”), which are a form of residential mortgage backed securities (“RMBS”) issued by private entities.
