Petitioner-appellant Rose Brown appeals from a judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Loretta A. Preska, Judge) dated June 8, 1998. The district court rejected the recommendation of the magistrate judge and denied Brown’s 28 U.S.C. § 2254 habeas corpus petition through which Brown sought to overturn her state narcotics conviction.
