Mabry, J.:
The appellee, Reginald Fry, instituted proceedings in equity by bill, in the Circuit Court of Clay .county, Florida, in March, A. D. 1887, against the appellants, J. Irene Adams and Thos. J. Adams, to foreclose a mortgage. The mortgage was executed by appellants to appellee on the 9th day of February, A. D. 1885, on *320real estate situated in said county, to secure the sum of five thousand dollars, payable in equal installments one and two years from the 31st day of January A.
