This controversy has been before the Court on two previous occasions — at the 1965 Spring Term reported as Conference v. Piner, 264 N.C. 67, 140 S.E. 2d 721, and at the 1966 Spring Term reported under the same name in 267 N.C. 74, 147 S.E. 2d 581. In the former case the Eastern Conference of Original Free Will Baptists of North Carolina and its officers were parties plaintiff in addition to the plaintiffs now before the Court.
