—In an action to recover damages for wrongful eviction, the defendant appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (I. Aronin, J.), entered July 13, 2000, which denied his motion to dismiss the complaint.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.

The defendant moved, inter alia, to dismiss the complaint on the ground that it is time-barred by the applicable one-year Statute of Limitations.
