MURPHY, Chief Judge.

For reasons assigned in our opinion in Smith v. Piper Aircraft Corporation, 18 F.R.D. 169, filed this date, plaintiff may amend her complaint; the motion to strike affirmative defenses is denied; answers to interrogatories should be reexamined before sanctions under rule 37 (a), Fed.Rules Civ.Proc., 28 U.S.C., are appropriate.

*182In addition to the claim against defendant, plaintiff seeks to recover in an Alabama state court from Smith Way Inc. and the pilot’s estate, alleging that the pilot’s negligence was the proximate cause of the accident.
