Plaintiff, a citizen and resident of Sparta, Greece, brings this suit in damages for the death of his son, 21 years old, who was scalded to death by the explosion of one of the tubes in one of the boilers at the power plant alleged to be conducted by the defendants jointly. The defendants are the New Orleans & Carrollton *312Railroad, Light & Power 'Company and the New Orleans Railways Company, the latter company in the hands of receivers.
