JOANOS, Judge.

Russell Donald Mayo appeals the judgment and sentence for manslaughter rendered against him on July 31, 1986. Mayo argues on appeal that the trial court’s reasons for departing from the recommended guidelines sentence are invalid. We agree, and therefore affirm the conviction, but reverse the sentence and remand for resen-tencing.
