It was an anomalous proceeding that gave rise to the present controversy. It had for its object the sale of the real estate of a young man, which, because of his minority, he could dispose of himself neither by deed nor will, to the end that in case he died in minority his estate *520might consist exclusively of personal property and the course of descent be changed accordingly.
