OPINION OF THE COURT

Peter Lawrence Katz has submitted an affidavit dated April 21, 2000, wherein he tenders his resignation as an attorney and counselor-at-law (see, 22 NYCRR 691.9). Mr. Katz was *218admitted to the practice of law at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on January 30, 1991.
