HOUSER, Commissioner.

This is an appeal from the judgment and sentence of the St. Louis Court of Criminal Correction, Division No. 2, dated August 26, 1954, assessing against Roy Meixner a fine of $250 and imprisonment in the city workhouse for twenty days.

The case originated in City Court No. 2 of the City of St. Louis by the filing of a Report of the Chief of Police charging defendant with violation of -Ordinance No. 44886, Chapter 69, Section 38, in that in said city on December 23, 1953 defendant “ * * * did operate and drive a vehicle, to-wit, a Auto on the streets of St. Louis, to-wit,…
