OPINION

COLE, Circuit Judge.

Defendant-Appellants Kwan Andre Winston and Tirrell Clemmons appeal their convictions and sentences following a *291jury trial for several crimes relating to cocaine trafficking and a resulting murder. Winston and Clemmons were tried together in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, Southern Division, for violations of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1), (b)(1)(A), 846, 848, and 18 U.S.C. §§ 2, 924(c), (j) (2002).
