It appears from the record, that the steamer G-ipsey was a packet on the Mississippi river, running from Hew Orleans to . Lobdell’s Store landing, above Bayou Sara, and, as all the other Mississippi steam river packets do, was in the habit of landing -freight and passengers at all the intermediate points and plantations.
