Mary Roberts applied for a writ of habe-as corpus, challenging an order modifying the terms of her community supervision to include a $70,000 “restitution” payment to a charity. 1 See Tex.Code Crim. Proo. Ann. art. 11.072, § 2(b)(2) (West 2005). The habeas court denied her relief, and she appealed. We agree with Roberts that the trial court lacked the authority to modify the terms of her community supervision to require a $70,000 payment to a charity.
