SunTrust Bank, Middle Georgia, N.A. (SunTrust), as custodian of an individual retirement account (IRA) and as issuer of a joint savings account, filed a complaint for interpleader and declaratory judgment to seek adjudication of conflicting claims to the IRA and to the certificate of deposit (CD). SunTrust named as defendants Michael D. Harper and SunTrust, as the executor and trustee under the terms of Harper’s father’s will.
