This ease is one which it appears to me is to be solved solely upon the undisputed facts, and those facts are substantially these:

The towns of Utica and Deer Park, situate in La Salle county, in this state, adjoin, and the Illinois river forms the boundary line between them; Utica lying on the north and Deer Park on the south side of the river. On the fourteenth of February, 1876, an election was held in the town of Utica, at which a proposition for borrowing money, with which to build a bridge across the Illinois river, was carried by a vote of the legal voters of the town.
