MEMORANDUM OPINION
SHARION AYCOCK, District Judge.
Presently before the Court is the Defendant’s motion for judgment as a matter of law, or, alternatively, for a new trial. After consideration of the record and the parties’ briefs, the Court denies the Defendant’s motion.
I. BACKGROUND
On November 25, 2006, Plaintiff Shelia Shumpert was working at the Lee County Juvenile Detention Center when she noticed approximately six Tupelo police cruisers at the Lee County Jail.
