This is an appeal from a denial by the Commissioner of Social Security of claims for Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits ("DIB") and Supplemental Security Income ("SSI") under the Social Security Act ("the Act"). The plaintiff, Wanda Lugo, filed claims for DIB and SSI on January 1, 2014 and November 12, 2015, respectively. An Administrative Law Judge ("ALJ") for the Social Security Administration ("SSA") denied the plaintiff's claims on the grounds that the plaintiff was not "disabled" under the Act. R. & R. at 2.
