Plaintiff N.S. and her parents brought this suit against the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), 20 U.S.C. § 1400 et seq. Specifically, plaintiffs sought reversal of an administrative hearing officer’s February 4, 2016 determination that DCPS did not deny her the “free and appropriate education” (FAPE) required by the IDEA.
