OPINION

VANMETER, Judge:

Appellants1 appeal from the September 27, 2012, order of the Franklin Circuit Court which reversed an order of the Kentucky State Police (“KSP”) Trial Board terminating James Conder’s employment. For the following reasons, we reverse and remand with directions for the trial court to review the KSP Trial Board’s decision in accordance with KRS2 Chapter 16.

Conder was terminated from his position as Facility Security Officer with KSP due to charges of misconduct occurring on May 6, 2010. The issue before us is whether Conder’s termination proceeding should have been…
