COLLINSON, District Judge.

This is a proceeding for review of a disability determination made by defendant adversely to plaintiff on May 10, 1971, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g).

Garrett applied for disability benefits on May 7, 1970, claiming that he had become unable to work on November 7, *8781969, because of “Arthritis of spine, Emphesema [sic], Bronoehial [sic] Asthma.” The claim was denied on August 17, 1970; and reconsideration was denied on November 14, 1970.
