Nathaniel Lagarde appeals his conviction and sentence for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
STATEMENT OF THE CASE
On January 11, 1996, the state indicted Mr. Lagarde on one count of aggravated kidnapping (La. R.S. 14:44) and one count of aggravated rape (La. R.S. 14:42). On January 17, 1996, he was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty.
