Lara v. State
Court of Appeals of Texas
1Opinion of the Court
OPINION
BRIGHAM, Justice.
Appellant, Richard Lara, was convicted of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. After finding him guilty, the jury assessed his pumshment at confinement for life in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. In one point of error, appellant complains that the trial court erred in overruling his motion to dismiss indictments for failure by the State to comply with the Interstate Agreement on Detainers Act (the “IAD”)1. We overrule Ms sole point of error and affirm the judgment of the trial court.
