QUESTION: May juveniles taken into custody on charges which would be misdemeanors if committed by adults be fingerprinted and photographed?

SUMMARY: Any juvenile taken into custody upon probable cause that he has committed an offense which would be a misdemeanor if he were an adult may be fingerprinted and photographed. Any fingerprints and photographs so taken should be handled in accordance with s. 39.03(6)(a) and (b), F. S. Section 39.03(6), F.
