Linton and Dorothy Flournoy brought the underlying action for damages for wrongful foreclosure and conversion against Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Inc. (Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Inc., hereinafter collectively referred to as “Lenders”). Lenders were served with the complaint, but did not file a timely answer. The Flournoys moved for default judgment, and Lenders moved to open default.
