In 1921, tbe Equitable Life Assurance Society of tbe United States delivered to tbe Standard Oil Company, Incorporated, in Kentucky, a group insurance policy by wbieb it insured certain employees of tbe company against loss of life or total and permanent disability occurring during tbe employment. At tbat time tbe insurance was all on tbe noncontributory plan; tbat is, tbe Standard Oil Company paid all tbe premiums.
