NEELY, Justice.

Fred Gates, a surveyor, appeals from a jury verdict entered against him in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County for $50,000 in compensatory damages and $50,000 in punitive damages, based on allegations of professional negligence and fraud during the course of his employment with the Mauser Hall Partnership. Mr. Gates also appeals from the circuit court’s award of pre-judgment interest and attorneys’ fees ($25,416.07) and costs ($4,215.07).
