ARNOLD, Circuit Judge.
This death-penalty case comes to us on appeal of the District Court’s 1 denial of habeas corpus relief, 626 F.Supp. 872 (E.D. Ark.1985). On the issues presented to us, we affirm the judgment of the District Court.

On January 5, 1981, Larry Price disappeared from his home in Fort Smith, Arkansas. On that afternoon, Jawana Price, his wife, went with her employer and landlord, Holly Gentry, to the Fort Smith Police Department to file a missing-person report.
