This suit was brought by the appellees Patterson and Roberts against Qua-nah, Acme & Pacific Railway Company, the Et. Worth & Denver City Railway Company, and Texas & New Orleans Railway Company, carriers, participating in the transportation of a ear of maize from Paducah, Tex., to Kleberg, in Dallas county, Tex., and also the Plano Grain & Hay Company, who had agreed to purchase said grain of the plaintiffs.
