The major issue in this divorce action is whether the trial court adequately considered the tax and other financial ramifications of the property division in which the husband was awarded nonliquid assets but was ordered to pay the wife a large cash sum almost immediately. Hebatollah Seid Ashraf (Seid) claims the trial court failed to adjust the property division to offset the costs of liquidating assets to pay Patricia Ann Ashraf (Patricia).
