KING, Judge.

The issues presented by this appeal are whether the evidence presented at trial was sufficient to sustain a conviction for second degree murder and whether the trial court erred in denying defendant’s objection to the State’s rebuttal argument.

On February 24, 1989, by grand jury indictment, Lester E. Ebarb (hereinafter defendant) was charged with one count of second degree murder for the killing of Sondra Procell (hereinafter the victim) on February 13, 1989, in violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1.
