The city of Little Falls is a municipal corporation created by chapter 565 of the Laws of 1895, which act, as amended, constitutes its charter. By the charter the territory within the limits of the city is made a union free school district, and provision is made for a board of education consisting of six members, its powers and duties being defined by the charter and the Consolidated School Law of the State.
