This case involves the question as to the proper allocation of stock between a life tenant and remaindermen.

The facts of the case are for the most part not disputed. Mr. Elias A. Blackshere died on October 20, 1908, leaving a last will and testament, dated October 7, 1904. By Item 1 he devised and bequeathed a life estate in all his property unto his wife, Harriet B. Blackshere.
