This is a petition under the workmen’s, compensation act, compensation being sought by the petitioner for disability alleged to have been suffered by reason of hernia, clearly recent in origin and resulting from a strain arising out of and in the course of his employment.
It was first heard and granted by the director of labor. It was later heard, on respondent’s appeal, by a justice of the superior court and a decree was entered awarding compensation for temporary total and later partial disability for certain periods and at certain rates, and for medical and hospital expenses.
