On the eighteenth day of 'January, 1895, Charles Williams, a resident of the city and county of San Francisco, state of California, died, leaving estate.

On the nineteenth day of January, 1895, an instrument purporting to be the last will of said Charles Williams and to *2have been executed and attested on January 21, 1892, was filed in this court by G. T. Knopf, therein named as executor, together with a petition for probate. Mary E. Madden, formerly Mary E.
