On April 15, 1897, the Merchants’ National Bank commenced an action and obtained a -warrant of attachment against the property of the Columbia Spinning Company, which, on the same day, was issued to the sheriff of New York county. On April twenty-first, an alias attachment was granted, directed to the sheriff of any county in the State.
