A. INTRODUCTION
The instant adversary proceeding requires us to address several issues not previously touched upon in the line of decisions in this jurisdiction concerning calculation of arrearages and proofs of claim in cases concerning mortgages previously assigned to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) in connection with its Mortgage Assignment Program (“MAP”), established pursuant to 12 U.S.C. § 1715u(b).
