Respondent appeals as of right from a circuit court order denying his motion to terminate a personal protection order (PPO). We reverse. This appeal is being decided without oral argument pursuant to MCR 7.214(E).

Petitioner obtained a ppo on the ground that respondent had attacked him and threatened to kill him one evening at an ice arena. Respondent allegedly attacked petitioner, hurled him over a bench into a wall or plate glass window, and then choked him while repeatedly threatening him.
