|2Pefendant, Arthur Thomas, was convicted of one count of possession of cocaine, and sentenced to five years at hard labor. Defendant now appeals from his conviction and sentence.
The following facts were adduced at defendant’s trial. Sergeant Curtis Mat*82thews, a narcotics officer with the Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office, testified that he participated in the investigation leading to the arrest of defendant, Arthur Thomas, for possession of cocaine.
