WADTHALD, Justice.
On the 7th day'of January, 1932, at Col-linsville, Grayson county, Tex., Alvin Scott, a bos'-13 years and some 2 months old, received an injury to his foot and leg to the extent that his leg had to be amputated above the knee. This suit was brought by Mrs. Mollie Price, joined by her husband, Robert Price, mother and stepfather, respectively, of Alvin Scott, the suit being brought in her own behalf, and as next friend of Alvin Scott, against the Texas & Pacific Railway Company and the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company of Texas, to recover damages for the said injuries…
