Two defendant banks have appealed a judgment for the plantiffs in an action to recover from the Glastonbury Bank and Trust Company, hereinafter the drawee bank, the amount of a cheek drawn by the plaintiff Alice E. Perley payable to two payees and paid by the drawee bank on a forged endorsement of one of the payees. The drawee bank impleaded as third-party defendant the payor bank, the Connecticut Bank and Trust Company.
