This litigation consists of two now consolidated Eastern District of Missouri actions and two District of Delaware actions, that are all brought by patent owners As-traZeneca AB, Astra Zeneca LP, and Ak-tiebolaget Hassle (collectively, “Astra”) for infringement of Astra patents relating to TOPROL-XL® and its active ingredient (metoprolol succinate).1 These plaintiffs move the Panel, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1407, for an order centralizing this litigation in the District of Delaware.
