This appeal arises from the circuit court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of defendants Charlene Troch (Mrs. Troch), operator of the boat, and Bell Fuels, Inc. (Bell Fuels), and Kelly Leasing Co. (Kelly Leasing), owners of the boat in the personal injury action brought by Mr. and Mrs. Wilson. Plaintiffs, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, filed the original complaint against defendants alleging negligence; more specifically, that Mrs. Troch was negligent both in operating the boat and failing to instruct Mr. Wilson on safety procedures for docking the boat.
