Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County (Cacciabaudo, J.), rendered July 7, 1983, convicting him of assault in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Judgment affirmed.

Defendant’s guilt of assault in the second degree was proven beyond a reasonable doubt. The evidence adduced at trial established that defendant grabbed Darryl Ponder and cut the latter’s neck and arm with a knife.
