DOYLE, Presiding Judge.

Jeffrey Brian Snead was charged with possession of a controlled substance1 and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.2 Snead filed a motion to suppress the evidence based on an illegal search of his vehicle,3 and the trial court granted the motion. The State appeals, arguing that the trial court erred by granting *346Snead’s motion to suppress. For the reasons that follow, we reverse.
