MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

NEALON, Chief Judge.

Plaintiff has filed this defamation action, asserting the court’s diversity jurisdiction. Presently before the court are three defense motions. Defendant Bishop has moved to dismiss and to quash service of process on the grounds that the court lacks both subject matter jurisdiction over the action and personal jurisdiction over him, that venue is improper, and that he was not properly served.
