KENNEDY, Circuit Judge.

Plaintiff Robert A. Potts appeals the district court’s order granting summary judgment to defendant M.E. Hill. Plaintiff argues that the district court erred when it determined that defendant’s search of plaintiffs vehicle did not violate plaintiffs constitutional rights and that, even if there *331were a violation, defendant was entitled to a qualified immunity defense.
